Runners -

I want to thank all of you who participated in this years Every Stride 5K/10K. We had over 700 participants and will plan on another exciting event next year! Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who participated on a bit of a chilly morning. I also want to congratulate the first time 5k and 10k runners who chose the Every Stride as their first race. You did an amazing job and I encourage you to keep running, run faster, run stronger and we will see you again next year.

Thank you to the race committee and the numerous volunteers because without your help an event like this would have never happened. I also want to thank the sponsors who took the chance by saying yes and giving us the opportunity to make an event like this happen. Finally I want to thank the City of Belding, the police, rescue workers and the residents who opened their arms for a race like this.

Your feedback is very important as a runner or a spectator and in order for us to iron out all the details of a first year race to make it better next year I encourage you to email me and tell me what you liked and what we could do better next year. As a race committee we will meet in about a weeks time again to discuss things that we will improve on next year and I give you my word that you'll want to come back next year for even a bigger event.
